Is This America? Exhibit Opening Reception

June 12 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

As the United States commemorates its 250th anniversary,  Is This America? invites viewers to reflect on the ongoing struggle to define what America truly is — and who it is for.

Curated by Birmingham-based artist, curator, and Studio 2500 founder Willie Williams, Is This America? will be on view in the Woolfolk Gallery from June 12 through July 18.

Join us on June 12th for a special opening reception celebrating the exhibit and the conversations it sparks. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with programming beginning at 5:30 p.m.

In addition to experiencing the exhibit’s paintings, sculptures, and installations, guests will enjoy live performances featuring spoken word and music.

We invite you to join us for an evening of art, reflection, and meaningful discussion.
