Join us for the opening reception of the Centennial History Exhibit, a powerful new exhibition celebrating decades of service and leadership by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Omega Chapter.

This exhibit also tells the story of a partnership spanning nearly 40 years between two organizations united by a shared commitment to service and community uplift. Through early financial support, visionary leadership, and decades of volunteer hours, Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® has played a vital role in supporting the mission and sustainability of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute since its founding. 

The Centennial History Exhibit honors this enduring relationship and highlights the chapter’s legacy of leadership and impact in Birmingham.
