A tribute to the city of Birmingham’s 99 neighborhoods, The 99 is an exhibit that preserves and honors the collective memory of the Magic City. 

We invite you to join us on July 31st for the opening reception of The 99, in our Woolfolk Gallery. 

The exhibit is curated by Birmingham native Emily Rice and features pieces from her original exhibits 99 Neighborhoods I & II, including 99 miniature wooden sculptures of homes that correspond in scale and character with each neighborhood. Rice also sourced sediment, soil, and vegetation from each neighborhood, converting them into art materials included in the exhibit. 

Join us on July 31st for an evening of art and reflection. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with programming beginning at 5:30 p.m
