S.T.E.A.M. Sporting Saturdays

Microsoft and The Southern Center for Broadening Participation in STEM will be onsite presenting STEAM Sporting Saturdays for kids July 9th and 16th from 11:00am until 2:30pm!

This special addition will feature a gaming lounge, virtual reality exploration, coding, robotics, and more. These activities commemorating The World games are designed for elementary, middle and high school students to enhance and enrich STEM experiences. Our aim is to increase STEM literacy enabling students to learn more deeply and think critically in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology (STEM).

ALL S.T.E.A.M. PROJECTS ARE FREE

  • 3D Printing – Race to Freedom Car
  • Button Making
  • Sports & Physics Drills
  • Potential & Kinetic Energy

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR SOME ACTIVITIES

  • Skateboard Kinetics (Ages 12-18)
  • Metaverse E-Sports (Ages 16+)
  • Brown Toy Box STEAM Kits (Ages 5-12)
  • Virtual Reality Lounge (Ages 13+)
