Alabama Dance Festival Community Night – Reframing the Narrative: The Arts & Civil Rights

The Alabama Dance Council and Alabama Dance Festival Community Partners invite you to join us for a free, interactive community event featuring Collage Dance Collective, local artists, and community leaders in a powerful evening centered on justice, civil rights, and how the arts can inspire social change, facilitated by Birmingham’s Poet Laureate Salaam Green.

In addition to meaningful conversations, fellowship, and networking, enjoy performances by the beautiful Collage dancers, accomplished spoken word artists and musicians presented by The Flourish, and the renowned Miles College Choir.
