NHBW Fourth Annual Author’s Book Fair

August 20 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

This event, presented by The National Hook Up of Black Women/Birmingham partially powered by Jack’s, Black authors from all over the nation will gather to share their literature, stories, and inspiration. Come meet them and purchase signed copies of their books!

NHBW/Birmingham Founder, Yvette Chatman says “I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer this platform to new, local, and independent authors so that they can share their stories. It isn’t always easy for independent authors to be heard.” Yvette is a member of the staff team at BCRI and works hard to curate the selection of titles available in the Institute’s book store. She proudly acknowledges, “Programs like this speak to the mission of NHBW.”
