Women of the Movement Mural Painting + Community Rooted Floristry Classes at the BCRI

Join us for a day of creative family fun on Saturday, March 22nd in the Commons Room! We’re hosting two events: 

  1. Women of the Movement Mural Painting Class with Studio 2500
    • Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Description: Unleash your creativity in this collaborative mural painting session honoring the women of the 1965 Selma Civil Rights Movement led by Studio 2500. All ages are welcome to contribute to a collective artwork that celebrates community and expression.
  2. Community Rooted Floristry Class with Rosegolden Florals
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
    • Description: Join Rosegolden Florals for a hands-on floristry class. Learn to create beautiful arrangements that reflect our local environment.

Both events are free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you for a day filled with art, nature, and community connection!

Hours: 10:00am – 3:30pm
