Community of Readers is back! Join BCRI and 16th Street Baptist Church for a family reading experience featuring I Am Courage: A Book of Resilience.

In recognition of the anniversary of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing, families will explore themes of courage and resilience while learning more about this important part of Birmingham’s history. Parents and caregivers will also pick up simple, practical ways to make reading and learning part of everyday life at home.

Pizza, juice, and snacks will be provided, and each family will receive a free copy of I Am Courage to take home.
