In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, The Ballard House Project and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute present an evening honoring the Birmingham leaders and organized groups who fought for the right to vote. The program will include a Reception and Artifact Display, followed by a Panel of Experts and a Community Conversation, reflecting on the legacy of these champions and ongoing work to protect voting rights.
