Institute Staff and Board of Directors 

BCRI's Mission: To promote civil and human rights worldwide through education.

It takes a strong team of individuals to make the programs of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute available to the public.  From an initial twelve-member Board of Directors and a staff of ten, the Institute has grown.  It is now operated and governed by a twenty-four-member board and a larger staff of full and part-time professionals and interns working together to fulfill the Institute's mission:

Speaker's Bureau 


The BCRI Speaker's Bureau makes staff members, board members and civil rights movement veterans available for speaking engagements.
