Fair-housing advocate and professional photographer Bernard J. Kleina's images of civil rights marches in Chicago in the mid-1960s will be on display at BCRI from March 4 - April 27.

Kleina's rare color photographs of King and others document the Chicago Freedom Movement demonstrations that called for open housing opportunities in that city.  The exhibition includes images of Dr. King, Coretta Scott King, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Andrew Young, Dick Gregory, Mahalia Jackson, and Rev. Ralph Abernathy.

For more information about the exhibition at BCRI, call (205) 328-9696, ext. 228.
