BCAP (Birmingham Cultural Alliance Partnership)

The Birmingham Cultural Alliance Partnership is a collaborative project of many of the city's major museums and the public library to provide after-school learning opportunities designed to enhance the cultural literacy and academic achievement of disadvantaged inner-city middle school students and their parents.  The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute administers the project that includes Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, Birmingham City Schools, Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham Public Library, McWane Center, Sloss Furnaces Historic Landmark, and Southern Museum of Flight.
